Well this just sucks....

Last night around 6, I noticed when i went to pee that there was the wee-ist brown tinge when I wiped. Well, that progressed to a red smear before bed, and this morning, its like AF has arrived with bright red blood and my painties were well stained from overnight...There was just the teeniest hint of cramping yest evening, but mainly in the belly area, not down low. I was also having lots of hormone surge hot flashes.

I'm calling my midwife as soon as its a reasonable hour, trying not to freak out and feeling kinda naive and numb. I mean, 5.2 weeks, several positive tests a week ago, there is no way this is implantation bleeding, right?

crap, crap, crap. what keeps going through my head is seeing my inlaws next week and if I've miscarried, them wanting to process it with me and looking at me all sad like(MIL is a therapist and kinda pushy about it at times) and that would be the last thing I would need.

Hugs, I'm sorry. Yah, it doesn't sound good

Do your IL's know you are pg? If not, maybe just don't tell them. Or cancel the visit bc you are "recovering and unable to have houseguests"

EVERYONE knows we're pregnant because I can't keep my big mouth shut and am just a serial optimist. And I always said I would be cool telling people I miscarried...so naive.

Ick.

I am so, so sorry you're having to deal with this. I will say--I had that kind of bleeding late in my 4th week with my youngest, and it was from a subchorionic hemorrhage--she's four and a half now and sitting right here playing with her ponies. Good luck, sweet mama, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the best.

Well, mamas, my midwife confirmed what I assumed. I'm most likely miscarrying. I am going to test in a few days to confirm, but all signs are pointing towards such...
I think I knew last night and have started to come to terms. DH is pretty upset. Sigh. Its a bummer.
I send you all lots of luck and wishes for super sticky pregnancies and wish me luck for a April or May DDC!
