Catastrophe at our house. Looking for perrenials.

Thread Starter
Someone in TAO suggested I post in here to ask if anyone has any excess perrenials.

We had a contractor job go bad and I lost all of my herbs in my herb garden and two plum trees. My herb garden, front of the house, and side of the house used to look like this and now it looks like this

With the costs that have been put on us, even with home insurance, I can't even afford to replace my plants that I lose and home insurance doesn't pay for plants or landscaping, so my entire front lawn will have to be replanted.

If you want to read the whole story, the thread in is tao here

I am in the west kootenays of BC.

I just read your story, and oh my goodness! you've been through so much. I'd love to help, but am in the US, so shipping might be a bit tricky. If you don't have any closer offers, I have some oregano, chives and lavender I could send. LMK

Later this summer I'm going to be dividing my irises and I can send some to you if we're allowed to; I'm also in the US--VA. I cannot BELIEVE your experiences ... Now I'm really freaking out about my house. There's nothing to freak out about--it's good and stable, however I understand about panic attacks, etc. Us gardeners love our plants, right?:

Well, if you're in the area visiting Silverwood at some point I might be able to help a little (I may be south of Silverwood, I may be north at some point in the next few months, life is up in the air right now). If the border guards even allow plants across though...

I'm down in Seattle, but head up to Vancouver, BC every now and then. Don't know if that helps at all.
Wish I was closer, that's just a heart breaker of a photo
I am SO sorry.

Have you tried craigslist in your area? I got a huge amount of plants off of there in the last couple of years, many of them free.

best of luck to you
