i think we've weaned! : my little one will be 4 in november, and in the last few weeks she went from nursing several times a night to just morning + evening, to just a tiny sip at bedtime or the odd morning...and started forgetting for several days at a time. it has been over a week this time, and i think that this might be it!

i loved nursing her, and my first and i'm so happy that she eased out of it all by herself. it was worth the wait to have a gentle weaning

i'm not planning, at this point, to have more babies, and i'm definitely on the verge of a lot of new things exciting

we're definitely done. she has asked for mama milk, but like my first i think it now means that she wants a snuggle - she'll only say it when she's half-asleep, in the early hours. we're having clear defined (by her) cuddling times at least a couple of times a day. very sweet. i'm going to make myself a dress that doesn't open in the front
