This is my first baby, and he dropped last week around 34w5d. I was wondering when other people's first babies dropped and how soon afterward you gave birth (please reply with that info!).
I'm 37w5d and my baby has been dropped a LONG time, since probably 30 weeks or earlier. I think maybe a result of my consistent chiropractic care. Both my midwife and chiropractor (who specializes in pregnant women and infants and is also a doula and natural birth specialist) say that being dropped early doesn't mean early or even 'on time' deliveyr; however, both have said that it's their experience that babies who drop early and are nicely positioned usually mean a shorter and more efficient labor. I think it's different for everyone.
