Hi,
My dd's early saver's CD is up for next month.
I have the option of a 6 months or 1 year term.
What are you wise mamas thinking?
TIA

Is there a difference in the interest rates offered for 6 months and 1 year?

thanks...

It is the same rate, I am just wondering if you all think that the rates will go down or up in the next year.

Take care.

Rates are very low right now (fed fund 0.0 - 0.25%). I do not expect them to go down. I think it's a question of how soon they'll head back up (no change as of June 24th). If it's the same rate for both terms, I guess I'd go with the 6 month CD.

Thanks

I was thinking that hopefully they would not go down and do the 6 months thing.
Thanks so much!
