What baby names are you considering?

DH gave me to go ahead to name this peanut, which is AWESOME because he likes maybe 2 names.

I'm leaning towards Quinn for a girl. My favorite combo is Quinn Penelope.

For a boy it's going to be Lane Neil (Neil is for my dad).

I know it's pretty early for us to have names pinned down, but I guess it's that much easier for me since I'm the only one that has to agree with the name.
Plus I've loved both of these names for years, and knew this is what I'd go with.

I started thinking of names as soon as I got that BFP! :

We have a sort of naming tradition going on with our kids...

DS1 is Ian Gray
DS2 is Zollie Isaac

So the first name initial of the elder sibling is the middle name initial of the newest sibling, and we also have 1 family name for each child (Gray and Zollie).

So that means this one needs a "Z" middle name

We are thinking Zion for a boy and Zophia for a girl.

I have ALWAYS wanted Anna for a girl (Anna was the name of the first prophettess to declare Jesus the Messiah as well as Anne being DH's grandma's name), so we are thinking Anna Zophia...Anna means Grace and Zophia means Wisdom...what other two traits would you want for a daughter? I'm really 'ing Anna Zophia.

We have absolutely no clue on a first name for a boy LOL. DS1 is positive he's getting a sister, though, so I'll go with kid's intuition.

Doula - I LOVE the name Anna, but I can't use it because my brother married an Anna and we are very close, so it would be too much to have two Anna's running around! Zophia is gorgeous!

Vegmomma - I love the name Quinn for both sexes, but I just can't give up Lane for a boy, so Quinn is limited to a girl.

Our son is named John Paul and if we have a girl this time her name will be Chandie Leigh (hubbys name is Chandler Lee) .. boy name is hard we have mostly picked out the middle name *Maurice* after my father but the first name just escapes us .. I love Brandon Maurice (my name is Brandi) but my brother in law is Brandon .. I am wanting a family name but the only one not taken is Arastesus ... nickname Rat ... lol .. that was DH's great grandfathers name and spelling may be off a wee bit

I replied in the other name thread, but already our names have changed somewhat. Right now I'm liking Fiona, Alexandra, Julia, Kira/Kiera, Naomi, and Amelia for a girl. We couldn't decide on boy's names last time and haven't got anything we both love yet this time either. I think we're both leaning towards Alexander, except I don't love how popular it is. We might use Alasdair (the Irish version), though we're worried about spelling/pronunciation. Other boy's names we're considering are Henry, Callum, Liam, and Conor.

catchthewind, I love Liam, and the male version of Kiera: Keiran, but unfortunately those two names are everywhere around here! My middle son has a Liam and a Conor in his class, my oldest boy has a Keiran and a Conor in his! And my 1st boy is an Alex I love Kira for a girl but it would clash with our last name.

I'm going with Gareth for a boy, Annelise for a girl. I might change, but both of those names have been on the list since our first baby, so this time, well, it's time!

We've got a boy name and a girl name. I finally found a boy name I loved (after I had DS2 and named him a name I only liked). If we have a boy his name will be Aurelius Elmore, Elmore is for my dad. If we have a girl her name will be Romilly Kay, the Kay is for my mom.

I like Quinn AND Penelope. But I like the cadence of Penelope Quinn better.

Liam is a name I kicked around for DS (I love it), and Garrett or Gareth was one of our top choices before we settled on Gabriel. What kinda ruined Garrett/th for me is a bad boss I had at the time named Garrett. It kinda took the magic out. Maybe we'll use it this time.

WOW! I've never heard anyone else even talk about that name! My daughter is ZOPHIA! And yes, I choose it because it means wisdom and also because I knew icall her Zoe sometimes and that means life. We callher Zophie a lot too. I think it's super cute!

Mostly I don't really know, I'm sort of obsessed with names and can't decide. Right now Elias and Caleb are on the top of my boy names. Dh and I really like Ruben but nobody else seems to and can only think of the sandwhich and Rueben Studdard.

I"ve only heard Quinn as a boy's name in the past and Lane makes me think girl -- like Lainey.

If it's a boy, it will be Kingston Milo. Kingston because that's where we lived when the babe was conceived, and Milo because it's Greek for soldier and DH is in the army.

If it's a girl, I'm leaning toward Rafferty Skye. DD is Rowan Sage, and I want them to have the same initials.

These will probably change as time goes on!

haha We have similar taste in names, DS2 is Kaleb. Great name! I knew a Ruben when I was younger, he was in his 20/30's all the moms swooned over him.

For a girl we (well I as we're not even sure yet I've got a BFP, although I think I do ) are considering:
Matilda
Madeline
Charlotte

The middle name will likely be Josephine or we'll use both Charlotte and Josephine if we choose one of the M names. My grandfather is Charles and isn't expected to live much longer, and my dad's best friend (my surrogate Dad, basically) is Joseph.

For a boy, I'm stuck on:
Benjamin Charles Joseph

There are no other boy names that stick out to me, so we'll see what DH comes up with. He likes Colton, but it doesn't sound right to me for some reason. I love the name, just not feeling it. I adore the name Max but can't figure out how to lengthen it, and we like names that have more than one initial. Maxwell and Maximus just don't feel right.

Sehbub,: there's Maximillian too. Or Max Power, like on that Simpsons episode My 4 month old nephew is Max, and I will probably refer to him as Max Power for the rest of his life. lol

A boy will be either Jerell Austin or Devin Jerell -- Jerell is DHs brothers name, he was killed when he was 2.
A girl will be Jolee Paige. Jolee just came to me one day and I liked it.
Our DDs name is Laina Marie.
