My dd is very sensitive to bug bites. she gets huge welts all over when she is out for just a little while at the wrong time of day. We live in the country and have a huge field behind our house so there's no keeping the bugs away but my dd loves to play outside and I don't want her to be housebound all evening. I've been using Off and feeling guilty about how toxic it is but I've had poor results with natural bug repellant. Anyone know of any that really work well? What about those wrist bands?

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

My dd is exactly the same, she gets eaten up by bugs and has terrible reactions. I have tried Skedattle and Healing-scents Skeeter Beater so far, both with natural ingredients and they did not help at all. If you try the other poster's suggestions please post back to let us know if they worked. Right now I have been using the Cutter spray on her and I cringe every time I have to do it.
