I'm already craving specific foods! Are you? :)

I ate pickles for dinner last night. I have also had a wicked need for really tart lemonade. Just thinking about it is driving me nuts!

How 'bout you?

Egg salad and hot wings.

With DS, it was hot wings and salsa.

But definitely eggs this time. I had 4 eggs yesterday. :

I'm not sure it counts as a craving, but I bought a bag of Circus Animals cookies yesterday. I NEVER buy those.

Orange marmalade sandwiches! I've been eating three or four EVERY day, DH has started calling the baby Paddington.

I didn't really have cravings at all last time. There was one night I really wanted chocolate pudding, but it was really late in pregnancy and other than that nothing. This time seems different already. Last week I was craving burgers. And not good, homemade burgers, but gross fast food ones. We almost stopped at McDonalds (I haven't eaten at McDonald's in probably over 7 years), but we went to Wendy's instead, which is almost as bad. The burger was really good though.

I'm mostly feeling averse to all foods. Dill pickles or toast with strawberry jelly are pretty much the only things that sound appealing. Hmm.. the really tart lemonade sounds good though!

Egg count for today = 3. This is crazy. It's only 2pm!

Not so much craving than just feeling aversions to everything.. Last night nothing sounded good for dinner.. I ended up having a bowl of cereal and falling asleep.

I was craving a happy meal but um, can you get any unhealthier?..

Oh, man, I know this feeling. With DS, there was a stretch where I ate at McD's at least once a week, because I craved their cheeseburgers. Well, it was more like I needed to eat so I wouldn't feel sick, but nothing ELSE sounded palatable. That and powdered donuts. Those were my big indulgences.

Oh my gosh--me too! I'm craving sour all over the place. We actually went out for ice cream the other night and I got lemon italian ice instead of ice cream. This is utterly unheard of!

Molliejo... After I replied about the lemonade, I couldn't get it out of my head. Luckily I had a big juicy lemon in the house, so I juiced it and added a little agave nectar and ice.. ZOWIE!! Talk about tart! And perfect. YUM. Thanks for the suggestion! Now I need to get more lemons...

Oh, and a little while later, I snacked on a dill pickle. (This was after almost gagging on some avocado, which is normally one of my favorite foods.)

staceychev... I was just thinking about lemon italian ice! mmmmm....

Whew.. Funny, I had a doughnut too for the first time in a long time at church last Sunday to keep from puking.. and I was like, ooh, wow, I forgot how tasty these were!

oh no, I'll have to avoid all these craving threads.. the power of suggestion and all! And I live in a rural area, there isn't anything nearby and there isn't any of the things I usually crave like ethiopian or nepali food.

Haha!

Ya'll are making me hungry in here!
I'm not sure if it's preggo related, but I've been on a smoothy and boba kick lately.
Probably have to do with the summertime.
I do my own smoothies at home and am contemplating ordering some boba online, so I can have those available too.

I couldn't sleep the other night and so I got up and made myself an egg and cheese tortilla with ketchup. It felt so cliche.

I am remember it was like this at the beginning of my last pregnancy too. I feel mostly nauseous thinking about food, but nonetheless I am hyper-focused on finding the perfect thing to eat in my mind. Why would our bodies crave junk food at this time? Something like eggs makes sense, but donuts?

The perfect thing would be a cheese croissant danish. mmmmmmm.

I'm 5 weeks and having some cravings already. I actually had a craving for salad the day before we got the BFP... That's when I suspected that I was pregnant. The same day, a professor used pregnancy as an example for statistical errors. By that time I just knew!

My cravings have mainly been a salad every other day, covered in ranch dressing (hey I get the light if it's available), Buffalo Wild Wings, and cheese quesadillas with salsa. I've also been on a mild ice tea binge. Thankfully DP has been bringing me lots of water (we read about this in Ina May's Spiritual Midwifery) since I'm less inclined to remember to drink it.

Oh man, I love Indian food. Although, to be fair, I love food. Seriously, though, I think that a dinner of Indian food sent me into labor last time...

: Let's do this thing .

Not many foods sound good to me but I try and eat well, though I've had some, erh, lapses .

I've been craving Lay's plain potato chips and have had those quite a few times. Trying to back away from that a little though. Hot wings and chicken tenders swimming in hot sauce with some celery . Have only gotten a couple of the tenders once but I want more soooooo bad, it's drivin' me .

So it looks like I'm craving salty and spicy a la Texas Pete . The chips and wings are really the only things that sound like pure deliciousness to me.

With all 3 of my previous pregnancies my cravings have been pretty boring. Juice with my first, milk with my second, and fruit with my third. So far nothing like that has kicked in, but I've just been hungry all the time, it's downright embarrassing. It must be unstable blood sugar or something because just a few hours after I eat I feel hungry, to the point where my hands will shake and I feel like "gimme some food NOW!!!" :
