how many covers for newborn?

Between my mom and I, we have made about 40 size XS/newborn Little Comet Tails fitted diapers. I'm wondering how many covers I need? I've made 4... Do I need more? TIA!

4 is a minimum number -- its probably best to have 6 on hand, but you could get away with 4....its just if you have blowouts you may go through them in that newborn phase.

I think you would be fine with 6-8 covers.

Wow! That sounds like an awesome newborn dipe stash. I agree that 6-8 newborn diaper covers are more than enough.
