cheapest place for snappis?

I want to get some snappies for a friend who's having a baby next month (and probably replace the ones I have too), and with the shipping they seem so much on most of the sites--is there any diaper site that has them inexpensively with reasonable shipping? I hope this is ok to ask here...

I know that both MMB and Abby's Lane have free shipping. They both carry snappis and pins.

After reading this thread, I jumped over to Abby's Lane to switch out the Snappis on my registry (doing a universal registry). While I love the idea of free shipping, it appears that they add a dollar to the price of each Snappi! This can really add up for something like Snappis that you buy multiples of.

I found some through Amazon (seller = 4 My Baby's College), for $2.49/each plus $2.00 shipping. So, to buy 6 Snappis, the total was about $16. I haven't researched places fully, so there may be cheaper out there, but I just wanted to throw out the caution of doing a price comparison when there is free shipping.

I have heard (but not tried it myself) that some places will just stick a Snappi in an envelope and put a regular stamp on it, if you ask really nicely.
