While reading this thread, I thought SNAP was an acronym for some military food stamp program. I hadn't heard anything other than food stamps before this thread. But after reading those links, it seems SNAP stands for supplemental nutrition assistance program. But since in a few places, it's referred to as SNAP/Food Stamp Program, I'm even more confused. That suggests, at least to me, that there are two programs, one called SNAP, one simply called food stamps, and in the one link, they are both being referred to when they write SNAP/Food Stamp Program. Or perhaps the / dividing them means person a calls it this/ person b calls it this and it's actually the same thing. Well, now I'm even more confused.
Is this one program going to two different names, or two separate programs following the same rules?
