Stephanie Plum?!?!

I love the Stephanie Plum series but I'm seriously behind on the last few books.

I love Stephanie Plum! I read 15 a couple weeks ago. Am I a nerd for saying I literally got butterflies in my stomach the first time Ranger said, "Babe"?

I realized that with my 7-year-old now reading, I have to be careful what I read next to her in bed. I thought she was watching TV, when she started reading the whole first page out loud. Thank goodness she didn't ask, "Mommy, what's a 'ho?" I read her a couple (edited) excerpts about Lula and Grandma, and she about died laughing. Now I just have to wait a few years until she's old enough to read these with me for real.

i love ranger. man that was just mean ... when she was with him and her father called b/c she had his cab. i was sooo hoping she would just ignore the phone!!! argh! i love when he calls her babe.. ranger is my favorite... i know she should probably be with morelli.. and i like him too but come on! ranger is HOTT!

i <3 lula... i read the parts about her to DP.. they crack him up. there is a contest on her website to name book 16.. i am trying but its harder then you would think!!!

I love these books too- so funny. I read some of her romance novels and that other series too- not so much. I'm 9th on the waiting list for book 15 at the library. :-(

i just don't *get* the whole ranger thing.... that he would be pining for her all these years seems a little silly. I know the books are supposed to be silly - so I guess that's a little nit-picky of me... but you'd think a guy like him wouldn't sit around and wait for *anyone*.... you know?

i don't think he's pining for her!! i think its more that he loves her .. but in his own way.. and of course there is all that sexual tension. even if she wanted to marry him or something he wouldn't. he said his love is not the kind that comes with a ring. mostly he is HOTTT and she amuses him and he cares about her... but he doesn't strike me as pining. i do think its interesting that he doesn't have any other women in his life... i think this is janet evonavich being kind to her fans.. b/c it would drive me batty if ranger were boinking someone else!!!

yeah i just tell myself he works to much to know other women. and that he likes stephanie b/c she isn't particularly demanding. if i were stephanie i would be an emotional basket case!

i love morelli though... i have a friend who is just like him except not as monogamous. so more like the rest of the morelli men. him and stephanie crack me up... they are both so hard headed.

oo and i like the term doodah... it cracks me up everytime!

ITA. I love Stephanie, but honestly, I don't see what about her justifies these two incredibly hot guys being so in love with her.

I am Team Ranger all the way! Morelli makes me tense with all his bossiness.

I love the books too

I haven't gotten to the 15th one yet, I cant leave the house right now so I can't read it.

I love the way their relationships play out and the characters are hilarios (but of course everyone here knows that )
I have read almost all of Janet Evanovich's books total.. I definitely like this series the best.
