I'm confused by the three links at the Resources pages. The Twittering Moms link goes to the same list of blogs. ?? Nothing about Twitter.

Also, for many bloggers, it is going to be difficult to pick only two categories. Most mama bloggers write about way more than two of those categories. While there are many single issue blogs, many more discuss at least five or six of the list topics.

Last question (for now): if one blogs an issue that can't be discussed on MDC per the UA, is one barred from the listing? I don't mean a blog entirely about an issue not discussed here. I mean a blog that discusses, say, feminist parenting and includes blog posts on abortion sometimes. Does the entire blog content have to meet the UA for the blog to be on the list?

I understand it may be difficult to describe a blog more broadly, but it is necessary and workable. We simply cannot have blogs listed multiple times in multiple places within one post. We need this list to be easy to put together, easy for members to read, and easily following the guidelines/rules.

If you each give me your byline and description of your blog, those are included with your listing in the up to two categories of your choosing (many of you have already done this for me - thanks for that!) and our members can read what topics you offer right next to your title.

No, we're not moderating blog content. I like to assume that as adults, members can simply choose not to return if the contents are offensive or not of interest, etc. If we get complaints that a blog disparages our community or members, we do reserve the right to remove it from our resource list.

Ok. I think, think I am up to date on my PMs and have everyone listed, save for a few blogs I needed further information to include with your listing.

Georgia had this in with the no more linking in sigs message up top for awhile. (a month? I think)

I'm not sure what you mean by "Are some of the blogs listed at the tops of the forums?" Can you clarify? Are you referring to the notices section up top? The readable-board-wide items (notices, links on every page, etc) are placed by admin.

ETA: FYI, I am away this week so georgia may be better able to answer you more quickly.

I thought I saw some homeschooling blogs linked in the Learning forum, but hadn't seen/looked in other forums. Didn't know if blogs were linked in all forums. Just wondering, thought it was cool to have them categorized.

Yes, a full listing of all MDC blogs is being offered here, but members are also welcome to submit their niche blog to the moderator of their topic's forum for listing there, as well.
