Buttons on a diaper wrap?

I just finished knitting the Warm Heart Woolies Wrap. I didn't want to bother with ordering aplix online somewhere, so I put button holes in. Then I was reading something last night about the possible choking hazards of buttons. Should I worry about that? Do you reinforce your buttons on baby items somehow? I was thinking maybe a smaller button on the underside of the visible button would help keep the yarn from taking too much strain. What do you think?

Smaller button on the back would work. I quite like a length of grosgain ribbon to back the buttons, myself, but that would probably get icky fast on diapering stuff.
