OK - this may not seem like a lot to you, but it was to me, considering that every 15-20 minutes my 8 month old needed nursing, singing, dancing, playing, snuggles, or disengagement from the stack of to-be-shredded bills.
Today I made: 4 loaves of ww bread, 1 dozen ww banana oatmeal muffins, 1 dozen ww applesauce raisin muffins, 1 dozen pocket pitas, 1 Balkan cucumber salad, 1 batch roasted garlic hummus, 1 batch Baba Ghanouj. A picture. Yes, while I was rolling out pitas I resorted to giving DS a wooden spoon dipped in jam to quiet him. But I'm OK with that. And so was he.
He seems to have handled the hardships pretty well.
Now I've got this and this to clean up!
Oh, and did I mention that I had to bake the pitas at 500F? And that I just discovered our air conditioning is broken? I thought it was having trouble keeping up, not broken!
oh well, no such thing as a perfect day.
