I had my son vaccinated, and after the 2nd day he had a fever! Is it normal? His vaccination is Hepatitis booster2. Is it normal?

I am sorry you sound pretty scared and that your little one is reacting.

Fevers are sadly accepted as standard reactions from vaccines, but many of us who don't vaccinate would question the belief that this is "normal". Of course it makes sense that a baby's immune system creates a defensive reaction after the injection of so many substances. But too little is known about immune function for physicians to understand why some react so much more strongly to vaccines than others.

Unless you are Hep B positive, does the fear you are feeling from your mamma bear right now seem worth it?

I suggest that going forward, you carefully research each disease you choose to vaccinate for, as many of us here have done, and only select those vaccines that you feel would benefit wellness for your child.

Many of us have found that none, 1, or 2 were necessary. Few who are substantively educated about this issue embrace the ENTIRE vaccine schedule that is currently recommended.

I hope your little one feels better quickly, and that you do too!

Yes after injecting foreign bodies into a system we try to get rid of it as soon as possible and get back to health and normalcy. Fever is the typical reaction and I would consider that a good sign. His body is fighting against that injection.

Personally I would not do anything to lower the fever but let the body take care of it. That is his best chance of getting back to heath.

Just one question: Why would you vaccinate a child against Hep B? (I assume that's what it was.) It is a disease of prostitutes and dug users mainly.
