Appetite postpartum?

Thread Starter
I'm just not hungry. No aversions or anything, but nothing really tastes very good either. I've been eating, but it's no longer pleasurable. Last time (4 years ago) I was ravenous and everything tasted great! I am not concerned about my milk supply as Remi is gaining nicely and I seem to have plenty. . . . but why don't I feel hungry?

Anyone else?

I am not sure why it is, but I am not very hungry either. I have been losing a lot of weight which is fine by me, I have a ton to lose and the baby is gaining and he seems very satisfied, so I am just enjoying it while I can. It is so much easier to make good healthy choices when you just aren't that hungry.

I wish I was having that problem! I am hungry and eating all the time. I get this way when I am nursing and usually can't lose all my pregnancy weight until I am finished nursing.

I am the same way. I am not very hungry. At some point in the day, I feel like my blood sugar is low, and I will sort of "remember" to eat, but not very much appetite at all. I was like this with DS and DD also. I guess it is why I gain 40-50 pounds when pregnant!

I'm not hungry either. Sometimes I can go through a good portion of the day before I realize I haven't eaten anything. I'm thirsty, though. I can't get enough water!
