reiki mamas-a question

if a woman is pg when she receives a level of certification in reiki is the reiki transfered to the baby as well?

I just contacted my Reiki Master and this is how he responded.

"Not necessarily. The attunement is for the mother, not the baby. If an attunement were directed toward the baby, the baby may not want it and if that's the case, the baby will not be attuned. Remember, Reiki respects free will and will not attune anyone who doesn't want it."

Let me know if you have any other questions!

thanks for the reply, i was curious because mom and baby share energy systems. i got an attunement while pg and it occured to me afterwards that dd might have too. oh well, i will probibly try showing her how to help her booboos when she's older anyway if she seems responsive.

You can always do a meditation and self-hypnosis where you imagine your hands inside your womb, massaging your baby with reiki symbols. That's what I do. My little one seems to love it, we're so connected!

Hi,

Another important thing about Reiki is that it not only energize the spirit but it touches the innermost part of us that is not often recognized by modern healing strategies. By developing the self, there is a sense of happiness, contentment and fulfillment that comes with the clear intention to become a better person.
