And want to chat? I finished the first one just the other day, and am about halfway through the second (so no spoilers please!)
The books are not that long 450ish pages, but for some reason they seem to take me a LONG time to get through! I think the writer has a very dense style of writing.. plus she skips back and forth between characters so I always feel a little like I am trying to get up to speed all the time..
The book has a bit more violence in it than I usually like, but I also like that some characters the reader seems a bit unsure of- are they good guys, bad guys, or just weak? etc.. so far seems like there are some strong female characters in there, and some that I thought were bad guys are turning out not to be.. so that unpredictable nature of the books also appeals, because I usually can figure out the ends of books WAY before I get there, and I like that this author keeps me guessing a bit..
Anyone else read them? I picked the second one up by chance- it was on the "new fiction" shelf at the library, so I went ahead and checked out the first one so I could read them in order..

Looks like Traitors Gate will be out in August.
