I didn't know these people, but the news of their death has left me heartbroken, and I think we should keep their family in our prayers and thoughts ...

Bud and Melanie Billings were the parents of 16 children (from newborn to 11 years of age). 12 of their kids were adopted, and some of the kids are special needs kids.

Bud and Melanie were murdered in their home yesterday night, during a home invasion. Most of the kids were home at the time, but they were unharmed; thank God. I'm at a loss...

The best that I can do is prayer and good thoughts.

They have arrested several suspects and are looking for several more. Police say there are 3 motives and only robbery has been released.

The messed up thing is that someone in my extended family knows the suspects that have already been arrested and most likely knows the ones still being looked for.
