Playstands? - Page 2

We have the Little Colorado play stands. I do not keep toys on them and they get used ALL THE TIME. I have a basket of silks and lightweight blankets and a few cushions that the girls can use as they like. It is constantly a house, store (grocery and pet), princess castle, Charlie and Lola's house, pirate ship, and recently a bird hospital. And lots of other stuff. They also put on a canopy, curl up with a pillow and blanket and read.
I agree that using it for storage sends kids the message it is furniture. For storage, we use the short Trofast frames from Ikea, bins for everything and a nice surface on top for playing or displaying treasures.
