only one smiley in signature?!?!?

i tried to edit my signature and it says im allowed only one image, almost everyone on this sites signature has atleast two and i was trying to use three...how come its limiting my images?

Once you have been here 60+ days ~and~ have accrued 50+ posts you can have more. Further information on signatures and other MDC tidbits is in the FAQ stickied at the top of this forum (also linked in my signature). That could be helpful for you, too.

Smilies are small graphical icons which you can insert into your messages to convey an emotion or feeling, such as humor, happiness, or embarassment. Certain combinations of text characters are converted into smilies. Click here for a list of the smilies currently used at MDC. As of 10/10/2006, New Members are limited to 1 smilie in their signature. Members are allowed 8 smilies in their signatures when they have accrued 50 posts and have been registered for 60 days.
