Baby isn't really wiggly today...

should i be freaked out? He was kicking just fine last night, and I have felt him a couple of times today, but nothing strong like normal. I got kinda scared and was talking loudly to him and pushing on my stomach to try to get him to move...he finally scooted over gently to one side of my stomach (I saw this more than i felt it, it was pretty obvious though).

I guess I should say that I did sleep until noon today (i know!) so for all i know he was super wiggly during that time...

ETA: I can feel him switching positions - well, i mean, i can feel my stomach sticking out more and getting harder like he is moving, i'm just not feeling the typical spastic kung fu moves today...

What should i do?
Nothing?
Something?

TIA!

Babies get much quieter before birth. I would drink/eat something cold and sugary and see if that gets some movement happening.

i have noticed movements slowing down also & can go quite awhile without feeling or noticing anything. ha, as I typed that I felt something. i try not to get freaked out by it, since the baby has got to be running out of room. I am 40 weeks, 3 days and counting...

Honestly, if you are worried just call your dr or midwife - that is what they are there for! No harm in being extra cautious especially if it will set your mind at ease.

I freaked out with both my girls because their movement really slowed down towards the end. I had several NSTs that were perfect. Babies run out of room and really slow down movement close to delivery . If you are worried, though, call your MW/OB! They can do an NST or listen with the doppler and make you feel at ease.

I had two really slow days this week but today he/she perked right up and has been wiggly all day.
