hi- I've been lurking on here for roughly a year, finding great information and ideas. now i'm interested in starting to post my own thoughts and questions, so i thought i should actually intoduce myself. i am a loving mom to my 9 month old little girl, additionally, i have a 15 yo stepdaughter who we are, unfortunately, only seeing sporadically right now. we are veggie, environmentally-friendly parents who embrace the ap lifestyle as much as possible (breastfeeding- NO formula!, baby wearing, co sleeping, etc), but sadly i do have to work outside the home about 10 months of the year (i'm a school teacher). luckily, my husband's schedule is flexible and baby only spends about 20 hours in daycare a week, although that's still too long in my opinion. but- i'm greatly enjoying my summer home with her now!!!
