Arm me ladies, I'm going into battle! - Page 2

I would turn it around on your doctor and demand that he/she provide you with absolute proof that vaccine benefits outweigh the risks.

Request:

1) long-term research comparing vaccinated vs. non-vaccinated children demonstrating the safety and efficacy of vaccines

2) research examining which children might be genetically susceptible to vaccine injury

and

3) research demonstrating the safety of injecting aluminum, formaldehyde and other toxic ingredients into babies/children.

Be firm and insist that you would not even consider vaccinating until your doctor can provide all three of these.

Well, after the I told the nurse we don't vaccinate she told me that they do not accept people who don't vaccinate. My response - Then I guess this will be our last visit. I listened through the door heard her recount the discussion w/ the dr. The dr didn't respond, but when she came in she told me to sign the typical "I'm an idiot for not vaccinating" form. "Oh the nurse told me I wouldn't be welcomed back here" "Out other dr won't see people who don't vax, I just want you to sign this form" .... the other dr is on the other side of the building..... I know the nurse was speaking to our ped, I guess that's the line she's supposed to give to gauge just how easy I'd be to push over The dr told me how pertussis is common here now because of the lack of vaxing, she almost lost a two month old a few weeks ago and lost three to it this winter. Though she never said if those children were vaxed or not, which I find interesting. At least our first ped told me she almost lost a nonvaxed child..... I find it interesting she didn't specify. At any rate, she told me that people who say its better to catch it and that there are bad things in the vax that can hurt them are spreading rumors and its all a myth. At that point I just said "family history of reaction from flu symptoms to severe swelling to anaphylactis (sp?)" Her response was that swelling doesn't do any damage, flu symptoms are normal bodies response using the vax to become immune, but anaphylactis is bad, but that hardly ever happens and she vaxes a lot. I have nothing to worry about and should be open minded. "I am open minded, I'm not saying I never will, but it will be years from now." (Total lie but at this rate I just want to have a ped thats not so pissed off to fire me) her response - well they are designed to help them now cause this is the age when they really need it most (or something to that effect). I just smiled and nodded and she moved on. All in all not too bad. Another thing I found funny was I asked her about probiotics for DD3, she pointed me in the direction of a certain pharmacy but told me to beware the owner cause he will talk your ear off about how great probiotics are and how they can solve all these medical problems - like he was a nut job Needless to say I can see the writing on the wall, but for now I can tolerate it seeing as there are no naturopaths and no FP or peds that believe in nonvaxing at all here. I've checked every blasted list I can find online and there is nothing listed for Oklahoma.
