I've been twice and IMO they are a little heavy handed with the upselling of gigantic framed pictures, they'll print out pictures and put them in these gorgeous frames and for some people it's hard to say no thanks, knowing the pics of your babies will go in the trash.

FYI, there is usually a coupon on their site for a free 8x10" photo (and no sitting fee). You can also get on their mailing list (e-mail, hard mail or both) and have the coupons sent to you. So if you miss this particular offer, it's not a big deal.

Dh worked at the Picture People once upon a time. They NEVER have a sitting fee and the sheets (even without a coupon) are relatively cheap. They work with kids all the time so most of the photographers are patient. AND you get your prints in a matter of hours.

Plus they hand out coupons like water!

They do this, yes. But the store has a quota and frames can make up a bunch of it. Have a plan when you go in!
