No Raw Milk:(

I moved to coastal NC from Texas about 18 months ago and I can't find any raw milk. I'm sad; I love milk and I got spoiled on the good stuff. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and would love to have a glass right this minute.

I know you folks understand. Sigh.

Oh, and if any of you know where to get some, LMK pretty please:

Where in TX are you? I used to live about 45 min south of Dallas for some time. Most of Dh's family live there. I know of several places to get raw milk but tx is a huge state, and it may be very far from you.

Where in NC are you? It's legal in SC... if you wanted to make the drive.

It's been a few years since I lived in SC, but at the time I was able to buy it directly from a health food store in Columbia called 14 Carrot. It was not legal for them to sell it, but they did anyway. There was another source for milk, and I think it was closer to NC. And SC has some raw goat milk, too.

This is in VA but if you're in the north it might be feasible, for a special occasion anyway.

Thanks, gals. I just heard of a group that drives to SC to get milk, so I am going to join up.

I am guessing you checked rawmilk.com for sources...but I just wanted to make sure...I feel for you, this is always an issue when we think about moving....good luck! (You may have to track down a farmer)...what about your own cow in the back yard just kidding!

I am part of the group that you mentioned, we love it! Good luck hope it works out for you!

the only way you can get it in NC is if you know someone and you HAVE to inquire about pet milk...NOT raw milk...ILLEGAL to sell raw milk for human consumption in NC
