Stain Question...

I'm using prefolds for my 7 week old. I wash them every other day. They come out smelling clean, but a lot of them have bright yellow stains on them from BM poop. I don't think this is a big deal, I figure they're clean, just stained. Kind of like the cloth napkins we use look terrible, since they have spaghetti sauce stains on them, but are otherwise clean. DH on the other hand thinks this is disgusting. He's not totally on board with the whole CD thing anyway. He think it means that there's still poop on them. When we have good weather/I have the time, I hang them in the sun to dry and that helps. I really don't want to use bleach on them. This is not a big deal, right?

It's not a big deal but here are ideas on how to not have stains:

Spray off every poopy diaper with the Diaper Sprayer. Being wet helps it not stain.

Use 1 scoop free and clear oxygen bleach in every hot wash.

Lay a clean, wet diaper in the sun to bleach out the stain.

Thank you! That's what I thought.

It really isn't a big deal. Do what you can to prevent stains, but they don't mean there's still poop on them. I also recommend a diaper sprayer, it's helped us a TON!
