I have a friend with a 3 mo old we figured out has a corn allergy. Its a long story but we need to find this kid an affordable formula thats corn free. He's tolerated the alimentum RTF and the Baby's choice stuff at the health food store just fine but this family can't afford it and there having trouble getting a Dr to write a script to get wic to cover it. I was at Walmart the other day looking at formula and I see no mention of anything corn in the ingredient list. Has anyone successfully used Parent's Choice ORGANIC Infant Formula in a corn allergic kid?

Before someone suggests it, no relactating is not gonna happen, friend is caring for a baby who's mom has severe PPD and is not dealing/accepting well her child is special needs (had a nissin fundo around 6 weeks for severe reflux and malformation issues, has some kinda syndrome too. Was born 10lbs and weighs about the same now at 3 months. Since we figured out the corn allergy he's quickly gaining and gone from skin and bones to starting to plump up and instead of being Mr cranky pants who pukes every where (yeah, still pukes big time despite having a fundo) he's become Mr happy who likes to smile and talk and only pukes when you feed him to much
(friend is having trouble getting mom to understand you can't feed a refluxer a 6oz bottle in 15 minutes without even burping then expect them not to reflux it back. He can only handle about 2oz at a time.)
