Not high, but not low?

So I can't really decide if baby is sitting high, low or neither (is that possible?)

I can breath fine. Usually I can eat a normal amount. My appetite is back and forth between "can't eat enough" and "not hungry". When I pee, it's usually quite a bit.

BUT...

When I pee, it takes forever to get done. Trickles out at the end. (TMI coming) When I have to poo, it feels like I'm not done, but I am. If that makes sense. That makes me wonder if baby is rather low. ???

But some of the other stuff makes me think higher. My sister saw me about a week ago and said she thought it looked like I was carrying high. It's always seemed lower to me. Something about my belly being on my lap most of the time. LOL I also need to make room for him when I sit (spread legs, sitting up right, etc) or he lets me know. LOL

Yet, I don't have a "bowling ball between the legs feeling" and I don't have a waddle much.

Grrr. It just bugs me to not have an idea of how low or high he is. I don't know why it matters to me. LOL Anyone else?

I was wondering about this same thing about a week ago. I really couldn't tell. Then at the beginning of this week the babe dropped.

You're probably near the same place, he hasn't dropped yet, but isn't especially high.

I think the rest of the sx are just end of pg stuff. Even with babies that dropped I never had a bowling ball between my legs sort of feeling (until it was time to push).

My babe had dropped some (to -1) but then popped back out of my pelvis to change positions a bit! This is my third babe and my MW said that happens. So I have also felt like baby is low, then baby is high. It was posterior, now its not...and I am past due so its not like this babe has lots of room. I am hoping baby finds a good position and labor starts!!

I am in about the exact same situation as you. People are always telling me he looks lower or that I've dropped, and yet I don't really feel any difference.

I am also 6'3" so I figured I have a lot more room than average.

I guess I feel like I'll "just know" when he has- kindof like everything has been in pregnancy. remember when it was like- was that a kick?

I seem to remember hearing that sometimes you don't ever drop in your first pregnancy? Like water breaking or not, or losing your plug.

It would be nice though- then I would feel like we are getting somewhere!

The most likely explanation is that sometimes he's low, and sometimes he's not! That's what 2nd and subsequent babies tend to do towards the end! I have had people tell me that I am carrying high and low on the same day, and I can always tell when his head is way down or floating!

I can't really tell either, but I suspect I'll know it when baby really drops. Sometimes I have heartburn, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it's harder to pee than others. I"m not really fussed about it, but I've still got 2 weeks before I'm due.

I was absolutely sure my baby was engaged Saturday night.
The pressure was so big!
Well, turns out that the pressure was the bag of waters but the head was floating way up high (thus my hospital transfer) It never really descended until pushing time.... so I apparently have no idea how to tell about the head either, even having had 5 kids before.
