PP Bleeding?

Hey all... so, DP and I have been DTD about 1-2 times per week for the past few weeks (babe is 7 weeks). Usually, the morning after, I have pinkish flow for a few hours. Well, last night we DTD, and this morning it's dark red. No clots. I haven't had a PP checkup yet because they are really book up - my apt. isn't for another month!

Any thoughts? I'm not having any pain, but because it's dark red (it hasn't been this color for about a month now) I'm a bit worried. It's highly unlikely that it's my period returning, as I'm almost EBF'ing.

No idea! I wish I knew, I had the same unexplained bleeding at 4 wks (after dtd) and 6 weeks, and also have another 3 weeks until I get in for my PP visit so I haven't been able to ask. fwiw, I got AF back at 6 weeks with DD even though we were EBF and she nursed every 2-3 hours around the clock.

You say *almost* exclusively BF, did you happen to skip a feeding just before this happened? That can cause renewed bleeding, did for me but at 3 weeks not 7. Or anything that could cause a sudden hormone level drop could do it. Or maybe your cycle is back, don't discount the possibility (I wouldn't rely on lactational ammenhorea for birth control after this and yes I know I butchered that spelling).
