We had a fire on our property Wednesday with a building burning to the ground. Thankfully our home is fine but our trees got scorched from the heat. My lilacs, which were further away, seem to have perked back up after some water, but the other trees that were closest to it look really bad. Is there any hope for them? I don't think they got burned directly. Should we trim some of the branches back and hope for the best?
