Etsy/hyena cart are good for fleece or wool covers but tbh I wouldn't trust any PUL covers from there, sorry! Imse Vimse organic cotton are my faves for newborns.

If you're looking for wool covers I love love love Luxe.

I LOVE natural blue cloud from etsy (organic wool). I'm scared by recycled wool - since I don't know how it was processed......also wouldn't buy PUL from etsy or ebay - had bad experiences.....

When I started cloth diapering I bought my covers from here: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6829276

They worked great but my prefolds are too bulky for them(I now use Thirsties) so I mainly use them as swim diapers or over my fitteds or flats.

The shop owner is wonderful, she does great work!

I am not sure why you wouldn't trust PUL covers from Etsy. That just confuses me. Most Etsy covers are made from PUL with FOE (fold over elastic) on the edges, just like mass produced covers. I sell them in my Etsy store (which I am not going to mention the name of, I am not trying to advertise) and have had no problems or complaints from buyers. I know another woman who sews them (not on Etsy) and as far as I know she hasn't had any issues either.

A popular Etsy seller of covers that I know others like is Olive Jane. I haven't used them myself but they are really cute. Her covers don't have leg gussets, though. I don't know if they matters to you.

The problem with searching for diaper covers on Etsy is that you will get a lot of "bloomers"-type covers that are emant to cover disposable diapers. So you have to sift through a lot of stuff.

Sorry, I didn't mean to slam Etsy sellers! I love Etsy! However, I don't like FOE (pilly) and I have had wicking issues with WAHM covers. PUL covers are hard to get right, in my opinion. I have tried *most* of the mass-produced PUL covers on the market, becuase my kids are hard to fit and have sensitive skin. It's been expensive, so I just wanted to share what I've found works in case it saves someone a bit of cash.

I bought some AIOs with PUL from various Etsy sellers. For some reason, they make a lot more crinkly plastic noises than PUL AIOs commercial diapers. Why is that? I'm suspicious that there might be a plastic bag or something inside of them instead of PUL, but I don't have the $ to waste to cut them open and investigate. I'll just try them when baby gets here and see if they work first...

ETA: I love Etsy! I'm just a bit paranoid when it comes to anything for my first baby
