I've taken to sleeping on my back on top of my body pillow, but sort of falling off one side, if that makes sense? I usually have to have a pillow on the other side to support my belly, but positioned that way, my hips/shoulders don't get too sore from laying on my side all night, but I'm not completely on my back and can still breath. The other tip I picked up in a thread about pubic bone pain was to do about 5 good gluteal squeezes right before you get out of bed. Sometimes this works for me and sometimes it doesn't, but when it does I can magically get out of bed with no pubic bone pain!
Thanks for the sympathy re: the landlord thing. For some reason hearing other people be as shocked and appalled at his behavior as I am is so satisfying. We talked to MIL a couple of hours ago to see how her drive here is coming, and apparently the whole LL thing has gone nuclear. He sent her a letter and is claiming that the 2 day limit is for the duration of the whole contract. So she's already used up her 48 hours on the property and is therefore banned from coming at all. We don't think he has a legal leg to stand on, first of all, like I said earlier, it doesn't anywhere state any limitations on the frequency of guests, and secondly the lease says "a maximum of 2 nights" not 48 hours, so clearly, it's only overnight guests that count, and he can't ban her from coming over to attend my birth on the basis that she's used up all her hours. We are of course checking with a lawyer to make sure, and if for some reason he can ban her from the premises we'll be sending a letter tomorrow notifying him of our intent to vacate and end the lease. And then we'd have to find a new place and move in ASAP before I go into labor. I just can't believe it. I'm shaking and my face is flushed. This started out as a simple, common landlord/tenant dispute over the other apartment, not the one we're renting, and he feels justified in trying to force me to hire someone else as my midwife?! I'm really trying hard to not let all this ugliness invade my emotional space, as I just don't want it interfering with the birth, but I think it's going to take some serious work on my part.

s and
: to those who need it! (And
for Angelorum's landlord.)
And I know I'll never be "ready" for this, so whether he comes now or two weeks from now doesn't much matter...
I can not believe your landlord, Angelorum. Seriously, what is his problem! Definitely talk to your lawyer, it sounds like w/ this guy, you need to have your legal behind covered. NOT what you need to be doing right now...but it sounds like it's necesarry. Great big (((HUGS)))) to you for having to go through this! Hang in there!
: I ate almost 3 whole pineapples myself 2 weekends ago. I'm still in the "waiting for little one" club.
) no one was there. I'm really not sure what happened. Usually they will call if something happens. Anyway... So we decided to give up after about 10-15 mins and started to drive to Wal-Mart to get something for Eric's tummy. I got about a half a block and my van started to sound funny. I called Josh to see what I should do. I had made it about a block and a half by now. Then the sound stopped. Great! No, not great. I lost my power steering!
So I drove another couple of blocks to find a place to pull over. As soon as I got pulled over I heard a ding and saw that my temp light was on. The gauge was all the way to "H".
So I shut the van off real quick.
:
Cheap too. Yea!
