I didn't see anything on organic gardening, and I am currently growing two raised boxes. I want to get better at keeping ahead of the season by starting my own plants on time and getting them going at the right time. This spring I started too late and my cabbage never got big, and got attacked by loop worms. I would love to hear others experience, I am in the mid/north east so that makes a difference on when I will start.
I have beautiful tomatoes right now...it's so exciting to go out and get food for dinner out of the back yard. I don't have a big yard either, but we put in our boxes and filled them with soil.
I also have cucumbers, pumpkins, squash, zucchini, peppers and green beans. The deer just sabotaged some of my cucumbers and peppers...frustrating.
I think it's time to start thinking about my fall garden...what do you plant? I would love to hear some ideas...
