Delay in Swine Flu Vaccine

Last week, WHO reported nearly 95,000 cases of swine flu worldwide including 429 deaths. Most people who get the virus only experience mild symptoms and don't need treatment to get better.

This is what gets me if the majority of people get better with mild symptoms and need no treatment why vax for it??

Before countries can start any mass swine flu vaccination campaigns, the vaccines need to be vetted by regulatory authorities for safety issues. That means testing the vaccines in a small number of humans first, which can take weeks or months.

The decision to start vaccinating people against swine flu — which so far remains a mild virus in most people — will ultimately be a gamble, since there will be limited data on any vaccine. Until millions of people start receiving the shots, experts will not know about rare and potentially dangerous side effects.

This frankly scares me. In theory I can see risking a vax for something that is proving lethal to a large portion of the people who get it but to risk severe side effects or possible death from a vax for a mild virus that most survive with no issues is ludicrous.

The long term side effects won't be known, but has that little fact ever stopped a vax before? Even if the long term side effects were know, they'd be downplayed or outright denied.

Despite this, there will be pregnant women and children lining up to get jabbed anyway. Makes me sick just thinking about it.

Oh, and I read something today about they're thinking of a FluMist-type thing for this where you spray the LIVE VIRUS up your nose!!! EEK!!

I agree there HAS to be something going on here although theories to what are many. What do they have in store for us? Thinking about it scares the crap out of me.

Otherwise it makes no sense at all to force a population to be vaxed for something so mild. Heck, I wouldn't even take a regular flu vax let alone a swine flu vax (and as we all know... "regular" flu kills 36,000 people a year in the U.S alone!) Swine flu deaths are a drop in the bucket in comparison.

We have rights to quarantine ourselves. We just have to know that we have that right. Its even in the UN charter.

Thanks for the link. That's interesting, I'm looking into this. IT's common sense if you think about it. If there really was something so deadly going around, people are just going to want to stay home for a while! The only thing that bothers me is being forced to quarantine for something MILD that they are trying to brainwash you to believe is deadly (current swine) but its certainly better than accepting the vax or breaking the law! I hope this really is written into the laws... anyone else?
