Creative input needed!

Hi! I am opening my family childcare in September and just can't decide on a name. I need it to be natural/ AP sounding as that is my philosophy. Thanks in advance!

I've always wanted to open a nature-based program and name it "Nature's Nurture" or "Little Sprouts". I am guessing your arent in Missouri, so feel free to borrow one of those if you like them.

Thanks for your ideas! Nature's Nurture has actually crossed my mind too! I like little sprouts and nature's play too. It's so hard to come up with something that seems likeable, trustable, represents my style, not too babyish, not too extreme, etc...!

I came up with Milkyway years ago because it's a combo of mine and my husband's names (Ildiko and Mike) and we both like si-fi books and movies. So, I thought it was set, but then I started thinking- Does it sound AP? Does it represent the program? Does it imply we have some kind of weird "way" (milky "way") of doing things? LOL! Maybe I'm over analizing???

Any more input, anyone? Would you thnk "Milkyway" sounds normal, weird? I'm leaning towards "Nature's Nurture" too. Now that someone else says it, it seems better!

Naturally Children? Childplay's Natural? Whispering Woods?
I know of a few providers that use more natural settings with their care, but I don't know of any indicated in the name. It would stand out. You might also want to consider checking a thesaurus for words similar to words you associate with your passion. Be mindful of how easily you can say the name. Remember, you'll be answering the phone with your business name, and it won't be very impressive if you can't get it out.

How about something straightforward such as "Attachment-Based Childcare" (ABC for short so that you can answer the phone smoothly)? If I saw a list of day cares, and one of them had the word "attachment" in the name, I would call that place first and schedule a visit immediately!

Thanks for all the ideas. I finally went with Rhythms- since the philosophy focuses on following the children's natural rhythms.

We're supposed to open at the end of October, but have had some housing hurtles. Hopefully it will work out and I can read and post with other family child care directors!
