Ok, so am **I** the last one now????

I'm 42 wks as of Sunday. Having ctxns all day and taking herbal liquid stuff and pumping on and off..... we'll see if I can go to bed and wake up in labor at some point......... I've had a few good ones........

Now my two friends that were due after me have already had their babies!! Ugh. And I'm afraid my other friend, who will be 38 wks on Thurs, will have her baby before me. Our families live together and we're both planning HBs, so that would be really weird!!! Or have them at the same time!

And I have headaches again, went to the chiro and got fixed, and now I have another one.

And I gained 4 lbs in less than a week. WHAT?!?!?! How is that possible?! I'm up to 60 lbs now. That's the most ever, and this is my fourth baby. Usually around 30. Ugh...................... Seriously, how is that possible???? I'm not pigging out at every meal or anything...

Anyone else? I'm not moving over to July DDC. Just can't do it.

Emmajean, I can't even imagine having gone to the full 40 weeks, let alone being 2 weeks overdue!

i had my guy at 42 weeks plus 1 day after taking a shot of hot sauce and doing a bit of pumping. your baby will be born soon, i promise!

I gained more than 50 pounds this time, so I sympathize. My feet hurt by the time I was about 35 weeks, and I went almost 42 weeks!

thanks........ it's been 2 days of trying to get things going w/ herbs and pumping and listening to hypnobabies. Pretty much no ctxn "activity" Tues, so that's disappointing. this baby or my body is just not being cooperative. going for another NST tomorrow. baby's been moving fine and looking good. I said a couple weeks ago that the 15th would be a good bday, mostly as a coping tool, kind of serious but seriously hoping not to go this far. Well, I'd be really happy for a 15th baby now!!!

Dear little one,

I was the first baby in our DDC and you are the last. Please come out soon. I'd like to meet you. I know it's warm and cozy inside, but there are a lot of people out here that just can't wait for your arrival. It would be so wonderful to go from one extreme to the other- from a very early arrival, CS, and NICU stay... to a HB and wonderful delivery. Please come soon. Your mama can't wait to hold you and give you kisses. Plus- momma milk is WAY better than anything else I've had. And snuggling with dad isn't so bad either.

I'm pretty sure we're going to give it all we got tomorrow w/ "natural" induction stuff and see how it goes. I have decided I can be more optimistic--my new mantra is "it *can* happen and it *will* happen! Our planned HB that is!). I think that line is on a hypnobabies cd........

It's just weird that none of the other "late" mamas have updated or posted in a week, but I guess that's permitted!
