DH is staying home a bit longer :)

I was sending DH back to work today (my mom's around, I don't really need him, I'd rather he has PTO days for later this summer and year to do fun family things). But his work wasn't really expecting him until next Monday. He's in the midst of transitioning to a different group/manager. So they have already moved him out of his cubicle, but don't want to set him up in his new space until the announcement is made about the change. . which will happen on Monday. So he's going to work from home for the rest of this week. It'll be nice to have him around (sort of) but also not using up personal time.

That sounds like a great set up! I know what you mean about the "nice to have him around (sort of)". LOL My DH plans on taking a week off. It will be great, but he will be ready to be back to work and away from the crazy after about 2-3 days I bet. LOL

LOL. . .I intended it to mean that because he'll be working from home that he would sort of be here. Available for emergencies but otherwise busy.

O.K. that is different. LOL! I was comparing it to my husband who... after a week off work would be going nuts to go back

Great news! It's nice to have them around even if they are preoccupied, for moral support, to fetch you a glass of water, etc. What a nice surprise.

Congrats that's awesome! My DH had to go back to work yesterday as he had all last week off and is now out of time off. But since we were in the hospital until Thursday afternoon we really didn't get too much time to settle in together at home. As I am still recovering from my c-section and having trouble managing alone some friends/relatives have been trying to pitch in but I still really need him here some of the time. So he asked his work today and they are setting up a remote connection for him so he can work from home on Thursday
