40 weeks, 6 days

I'm 40 weeks, 6 days pregnant with DD#2. Lolli was born at 1:25am at 40w 4d (8lbs 6oz, holding up her own head, and she'd already pooped in utero). For some reason I really had it in my head that I wouldn't go past that with this pregnancy, since she was so obviously ready to be born at that point. I'm currently 53 hours late, LOL. And I have up to 15 days to go, as my midwife will catch at home up to 43 weeks. patience, Lauren.......

Who else has made it over the 40 week mark and is still going strong???

40 weeks today, but I have mentally been expecting to go longer, so I am sure that helps. I *need* this baby to wait until after Harry Potter tomorrow :-P

I'm only 38 weeks but I am going stir crazy. Patience is a difficult thing to achieve Anyhow, I hope that your baby hurries up!

I'm at 40 weeks 4 days. I really thought last night was going to be the night too. I had that crampy feeling all day and quite a few BH, but it didn't turn into anything, and today I feel as good as new.

I'm 40 weeks 6 days too! My dd was born at 39 weeks 2 days, after a (probably unnecessary) induction due to my water leaking. I had lost my mucus plug over 2 days and was having bloody show the night before the induction. Now, at 40.6, NOTHING!!! Just tons of bh, many episodes of false labor, but no "real" contractions or labor or any signs that labor will be happening ever. I'm starting to feel like this is some cruel joke.

I am also 40w 6d and going a little nutty! Both my DDs came on their EDDs so I have not experienced going later. I am having a hard time with it. I am trying to change my perspective, I obviously need to be open to the timeframe of my baby/body.

Tomorrow I have an u/s and Thurs a MW appt with a NST. If baby looks good, I can go one more week. I really just wanted baby to come before all that started, its like opening a can of worms I just don't want opened.

I am also 40 weeks + 6 days with DD#2. And I am going nuts!!!! It is so depressing and frustrating. DD#1 was nearly a week early, so I really wasn't expecting this. And I have been having tons of BH for months, everyone thought I would go early.

But, on the plus side, midwife just checked this morning and I am 3 cm dialated!!!!! yay! In my first labor, I spent about 16 hours getting to just 4 cm, so I really don't mind already being 3 cm.

I had an u/s this morning and the fluid level looks great. I have been feeling anxious about being "late"...I wish I wouldn't worry (I try not to) but honestly I have been quite a bit. I feel like my emotions may be impacting getting labor started. Because I feel so reassured and worry-free today, I asked my MW to sweep my membranes. Hopefully, things will get started sometime soon.
