I was wondering if anyone used the Swaddlebees wool diaper covers and what their thought where about the covers. I am pregnant with my first and am looking for a trim fit wool cover. So many of the wool covers look big and bulky, but the Swaddlebees one looks more trim fitting. Is this really the case? Is there any wool cover you would recommend? Thanks!

Swaddlebees Wool diaper covers

I have one swaddlebees wool cover in my stash and I love it. It is definitely the trimmest wool cover that I own. That being said, because it is so trim it isn't quite as bulletproof as some of the other wool covers. So if you wind up with a heavy wetter and want a good nighttime cover you might want to consider getting another cover as well.

We only have one swaddlebees wool cover--yep it's trim--but my son is NOT a heavy wetter and is constantly wetting through. We lanolized over and over again with no luck. So if you are home--it's fine, but I would not recommend it for going out and definitely not for a heavy wetter.
My recycled wool covers that I made are WAY more bulletproof.

I have one too and it's not my favorite wool cover. It was expensive and doesn't always keep super dry. I have a bunch of covers from this store on Etsy, http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6648243 and they were cheap and they do a great job of keeping dry.

I plan on getting some of these for my new baby on the way. I know that they used to make it in a single layer style that wasn't very waterproof, but the one they make now is 2 layers, and I have read some good things about it on diaper pin and diaper swappers.
The 3 wools covers I have used are loveybum, sugarpeas and kiwi pie peel. They are all great...I would say the kiwi pie is probably the best combination of trimness and being totally bulletproof. I will probably get a couple in the small size for the new baby, but I think that unlike some mamas, I am not going to like the pull on style for a newborn (just the logistics of getting it on seems tricky!)
Good luck!
