Does anyone us this cover? And if so what are your thoughts on it? I am thinking of using them as an overnight cover but they look very bulky. I am worried that I won't be able to get PJ's on over the cover. Thanks!

id get a pair of long ones and not worry about putting pjs over them.

I use them and love them. The leg cuffs were a bit tight on my chunky baby, so I got a size up. I don't put anything on over them.

Used them for night-time with both my kids and LOVED them. Very good coverage over even the bulkiest nappies and VERY soft. You have to wash them with caution as they will felt at the drop of the hat but having said that I have washed most of mine on hand-wash cycle in the front loader and they were absolutely fine (that is after I ruined my first one by washing it on actual wool cycle...)

I actuaally wash mine in a bucket. . .so easy. and I felted mine a bit in strategic areas.

Great cover, but we don't put anything over them. You could use a pair of baby legs if you need to cover legs.

My kids all slept in those. We LOVE them. You can get jamas over them, but you might need to size up on the jamas. Or you can just get the long ones and skip jamas.

Be aware-- the covers need some prep to be truly leakproof. You won't see good results without doing some lanolizing and maybe a little matting and felting before you use the cover.

Thanks everyone for your help! I think I'll get a couple pairs. How difficult is it to felt them? And how do you felt a diaper cover?

All you need to do is mat the wool a bit, especially in the rear end. Well, you probably don't have to, but it really does increase the effectiveness of knitted wool at holding moisture. You do that by immersing the covers in warm or warm-hot water and rubbing at them a bit. This will happen naturally all on its own with time and wear, so you can skip it, but I found that I got a little dampness on the kiddos' pyjamas when the covers were new and not shrunk a bit.

You'll also want to lanolize, not with a spray but with some dissolved Lansinoh. Just dissolve it in a cup of hot water and pour it into a sink of water, and soak for awhile with the cover inside out. The spray lanolins are great for maintaining the lanolin but the first time you really do need a thorough lanolin treatment. You can do the rubbing to mat the wool while the cover is soaking in the sink. Then roll it between towels to get the excess water out, hang it over a fan to dry it, and you're good to go.
