Need nighttime solution for tummy-sleeper

My 1yo DD sleeps through the night (don't flame me) on her tummy. And pees A LOT. Every morning her diaper, pjs, sleeping bag and sheets are soaked through, though the back of the diaper is barely damp.

I have tried:

*baby beehinds hemp OS with doubler in the front, aristocrat cover
*goodmama goodnight with all doublers in front, aristocrat cover
*disposable with doubler in front, aristocrat cover

The last one seems to work best but yesterday morning the sposie burst or something and there were gel crystals all over her tummy, YUCK. So I'd rather not use sposies any more.

Any ideas? The pee is all in the front. She was completely soaked this morning but the back of the diaper was almost dry.

How did you lanolize your wool?
I used 2 toddler prefolds for awhile...bulky but worked.....or put a pad under her tummy once she's asleep................

Hmm, may have to re-lanolize. I did it about a month ago, eucalan woolwash and lansinoh lanolin & haven't used them every night since. TBH I think it is an absorbency issue, it just looks like the pee has POURED out of the top of the diaper!

My 15 month old sleeps through the night on his stomach and we use a fuzzi bunz stuffed with 2 super-do inserts... bulky and weird looking but it works!!

It sounds like your wool needs to be re-lanolized. That should help!

I use a ME diaper with two (or three) Swaddlebees bamboo inserts, covered with a Kiwi Pie. No leaks here and occasionally the diaper is totally full. I also use two pieces of fleece to keep wetness away from her skin.

ETA: Maybe your diapers need to be stripped? If they're not absorbing, it could be detergent build-up. Maybe try washing on hot a couple cycles to see if you can get any suds out?

I use a MEOS with 2 inserts and an Airflow cover. I've never had a leak.

Wool never worked for me. The only thing that worked for my dd at night was the Dancing Bears Bear Bottoms fleece soaker.

My ds is also a belly sleeper...the times when I get leaking with him is if we don't have his woool cover pulled up high enough in the front. Perhaps this is too obvious, but make sure the cover has enough coverage to come up maybe an inch or two above the diaper in front. That really helps us, anyway. fwiw.

Thanks for all the advice! Last night we used a BGOS on the largest setting (usually she's in the 2nd setting) with a swaddlebees hemp insert sandwiched between 2 microfiber inserts. It wasn't pretty but it worked.

And I was going to get rid of all my microfiber! Aaargh.
