I want to start wearing my 3 week old. I have a Moby & Maya but have only tried the Maya once with not much success (he kept sliding down). What positions should I be trying in both? DS is around 9-10lbs now.

Even as young as your son is you can wear him in both wraps you have. Do you have a local babywearing group you can go to? If you search on Facebook Groups for your city you should be able to find one!
You could also go to YouTube and search out both your carriers...there are tons of videos! I was going to post a few links but there are SO many to choose from!
Good luck

Hi Mama,
With the Maya, I'd try the cradle hold (lying down) if your LO doesn't have full head control. In the RS, it's hard to support their head in a tummy to tummy. Also, watch the head to make sure it isn't lying against the chest, you may have to put a receiving blanket under your LO's body but not his head/neck to keep his airway open in the Maya.
That said, in a tightly tied Moby, tummy to tummy is nice for LOs, especially bc you can support their head with one of the rails that goes over your shoulder.
Good luck!
