Poem on keeping child from school in magazine

Thread Starter
Hi,
I am trying to locate a poem from an old isue of Mothering. The poem was about keeping a child home from school to catch up. And the child was catching up on kids stuff, like laughing and watching bugs. Does anyone remember the title of the poem or what issue this poem was in? I am trying to find it but not having any luck. Any help is appreciated.

Hey, Camille, you might check here. If you don't see it or if no one else remembers, you might want to email Mothering's poetry editor, Candace (candacew@mothering.com), to see if she can help you locate it. Not all the poetry has been re-indexed on the main site since the site redesign, so just a warning that not everything is there yet. Good luck and hope this helps your search
