More To Love

Anyone see the previews for this show?

I am very very angered by it!

While I think its great that the people they have chosen are not supermodels and super skinny - the way they have marketed it makes me angry. First they say that the average woman is a size 16..thats great, acknowledge it, more reality shows should have real women on them...

but...

then they go on to say that they are plus sized women, and they are bigger, and the shows title implies "fat". Its like saying being average makes you fat, and then had to do a special show for fat women (and the guy too) because they could never make it on the real bachelor/bachelorette show (its the same concept, same producers, different name).

Why not just have a The Bachelor with real people. A variety of people. Why cant average (fat) people only love other fat people. Why cant they mix it up and have a variety of sizes, shapes, looks.

I dont know why it makes me angry - but it does!

ITA!!!! I mean, hello, people of differing body sizes end up together all the time.

I am still glad to see more full figured people on TV and I hope they will be treated with respect on that show. But I don't get why they need their own separate show.

I cringe every time I see the previews. It's totally saying that an average guy can't like different shaped women; They had to get a chubby guy who ONLY wanted fat girls. It's an embarrassment.

Yeah its one "reality" show I refuse to watch because of how offensive it is.

I prefer the trashy VH1 reality TV to something like that.
