I'm solidly in the no-circ camp but my H isn't sure one way or the other. I found some great info on circumstition.com to send his way but I'm really looking for a chart (or similar) of regional stats in the US. Do you know if something like this exists? I'm at work today and don't have free reign to google penis related topics.

Thank you both very much. My H still thinks that "everyone" circs and it's a logical choice. Seeing hard numbers will go a looonnnngggg way with him. Yippee!

Have him watch a video of it being done and tell him to imagine his baby going through this.....

This is how I convinced my DH. I don't know any perosn with an ounce of empathy or a heart could watch that and allow that to happen to their baby.

DH wasn't convinced one way or the other during my first pregnancy (which turned out to be a girl) but decided if we had a boy not to circ since it mattered so much to me. Since then he's come around, and while he still is not adamantly anti-circ as I am, I think he sees it as a pretty ridiculous ritual and is very glad that we spared DS that unnecessary pain. Most guys come around once they have a son who is intact and come to see him as the perfect little boy he is.

i just posted on another thread about needing more resources to convince my husband against circ. we had our son circ'd when he was a newborn, and now that i know the truth, i can never go through that again...pardon, I can NEVER put my child through that! Anyway, I'm three months pregnant, and i just have a feeling it might be a boy, maybe because it would give me an opportunity to finally do what's right.

I don't think I could ever watch a circ video, it would be too painful, but maybe my husband would watch it...is there a place on the internet where a circ video can be viewed? If you're not allowed to post a link, maybe just give me a general direction.
