Can goats have leaky guts?

My DS (almost 2.5) reacts to my milk if I eat his allergens, so I've been on a strict diet forever. I recently trialed goat milk from Meyenberg which comes from grass/alfalfa/hay-fed goats. I guess DS did ok on it, (although he didn't like it very much.) Anyway, a local-ish farm has raw goat milk and I thought I'd try that instead since we're TF-types. However, she feeds her goats grains and corn. Coirn is one of DS's worst allergies. If I'm so careful about what I eat (I never eat grains or corn!!), shouldn't I care what these goats eat?? Or is it impossible for a goat to have a leaky gut? She did offer to take the corn out of the feed mix for us... but ugh, still, I'd rather they were grass-fed. Impossible out here in the desert I guess.

I've been gone for such a long time... I hope you all are doing well!

There are families here whose children react to the food the animals eat.

You may need to trial it to see. Like the PP, I've heard of people here who've reacted differently based on the feed an animal gets, but I don't think that everyone does.
