Our little guy Parker Daryl finally arrived Tuesday, July 14th (one day after my birthday!) at 6:35 p.m. I was 40 weeks, 3 days and was induced. Overall everything went well. They started the Pit at 7:00 am, and he would've been born much earlier in the day had the dr broke my water sooner. I had an epidural, which kept me comfortable while I was waiting but wore off at the end. At least I could tell when to push though!! Only had to push through two contractions, and ended up with an epis. because he is much larger than we anticipated---9lbs, 5.6 oz, 22 in long!!! (I am glad that he didn't cook any longer!!!!) I am still very sore at the incision site, but thinking that it is because of his size and how fast he came. Last night was our first night home, so we are just learning the ropes all over again. But we are having fun!!!!
