Favorite Ring Sling??

I had a ring sling that I really liked with DS. I lent it to someone and cannot for the life of me remember who. : So, now I'm in the market for a new one for our newborn coming very soon.

There are plenty of great brands out there -- my preference is for one with an open tail and unpadded or very lightly padded rails (i.e., not an Over the Shoulder Baby Holder or NoJo).

I love the fabrics that Maya uses, but the Sleeping Baby pleated shoulders. So I say, get an SBP'd Maya. Jan sells them on her site.

I love my Ellaroo ring sling more than I can say. I have it in the Midnight Garden print and it goes with nearly everything in my wardrobe (I wear a lot of solid colors ). Sooo comfortable and I got tons of compliments on it.

there are cheaper and more expensive that mine.....i got a recommendation from a friend who loves hers and still uses it with her 1 year old. she's washed hers a ton and it is still beautiful!

I really love the maya wrap ring sling. I love the breathable of the fabric, specially for a newborn.I think that my DS thought that his first month of life felt like the womb. He spend almost the first two month of life there.He loved to hide under my armpit.LOL

Definitely: Open tail, no or very little shoulder padding!! It will be more comfortable in the long run, and way easier to learn how to use.

I love my Storecheiweige ring sling. The fabric is a special woven material that has give but is still very supportive. There is no shoulder padding and the tail is not too long, not too short.

I like sakura bloom linen, I prefer a gathered shoulder. I would totally take a girasol slinglfied with a gathered shoulder.
